Sarasota County families are tired of the chaos, distractions, and political drama consuming our public schools. Parents want school board leaders focused on academic success, supporting teachers, improving student outcomes, and creating safe, stable learning environments for every child.

That’s why Fair Governance for Florida is supporting Jimmy Glover, Megan Tennimon, and Beth Mayberry for Sarasota County School Board.

Together, they represent a fresh start rooted in professionalism, accountability, and common-sense leadership. They believe school board members should solve problems, work collaboratively, and put students ahead of politics. On August 18, voters have the opportunity to restore calm, stability, and serious leadership to Sarasota County schools.

    Megan couldn’t ignore the decline of public education. Being a PTO president and treasurer of her kid’s schools was no longer enough. Megan’s children will be third generation graduates of Sarasota High School. She is invested in the success of public schools.
